Basement Remodel

In March the kids and I were headed out of town to visit my family so I thought it would be a good time to get our upstairs carpets cleaned. That night when Brooks got home from work he went down to the basement and stepped in a puddle of water.  The pipe to our outside hydrant had froze and the cleaning guys had used it and flooded the basement. 



Below is our finished family room and I love it.  Before we had an ugly outdated ceiling and wallpaper all over the walls so it was kind of a blessing in disguise to be able to get a brand new more modernized basement.
